Guemes Island is a short ferry ride away from Anacortes, WA. The island has one primary store, Anderson's General Store.

 

Casa Guemes is undergoing a remodel to add a real flare. Actually, it removes the flare - or mansard. The following is a display of what exactly is happening.  On the inside we have made it so you can go from the main house (on the right) to the office (top left) without going through the master bedroom and the outside deck.  Quite an improvement.
